Feeding your soul!
I haven’t been scheduling in enough space for feeding my soul. Yesterday evening Crystal and I took a much needed drive to the beach to recharge our batteries. I laughed, screamed, and ran like a 5 year old when the freezing waves came crashing towards my feet. We hunted for beach glass and other treasures. We breathed in the salty air and skipped down the beach like we were the rockettes.
I gave myself a little compassion and space to feel, reached out for support and asked for what I needed. Turns out that a little playtime on a freezing cold beach with my favourite human was just what my soul was craving.
We can easily get caught in a cycle of doing, avoiding, doing, avoiding and doing some more. What can you do to get back to ‘being’? It is in ‘being’ where joy, possibility, and love thrive. ✨🌊♥️
“Love your suffering. Do not resist it, do not flee from it. It is your aversion that hurts, nothing else.” - Hermann Hesse
